Not many people are talking about but some are claiming the automatic has a different brake master cylinder and brake booster and therefore the brembos wont work. Anyone with experience on this/has Brembo on their autos?

I haven't heard anything about that and have considered putting some Ford Brembo's on my car. They sell the kit for $1300. I also seen that they sell a front/rear GT350 Brembo set with adapter for like $3800 or something like that. As far as I know you can throw the Ford Brembo's on an automatic.

Posted this while back.
"the gt nonpp, eb pp or non, and v6 share the same master cylinder. There are 4 available. (Not including the 5.2L) GT PP Auto, GT PP MT, GT Base/EB (BOTH)/V6 Auto, GT Base/EB (BOTH)/V6 MT."
Coming straight from Ford.

I would think the difference between an auto master cylinder and a manual master cylinder would be more about the manual needing a clutch line for the throw out bearing and having nothing to do with one being PP or not.

You can put everything together on rockauto for less than $1100.

Calipers
Oem pp pads
Oem pp rotors
Automatic master cylinder
PP brake booster

I like this line of thought. Not so much that I'm saying it is correct, it challenges why it is different. Can this be confirmed somehow? I doubt your run of the mill Ford customer service tech would be able to answer this.

Ford Racing makes a kit and it makes no mention of needing any different master cylinder or booster

http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-6...-kit-2015.html

EDIT***

CJPP says for autos you will need a booster

"Tech Tip: Although this kit will fit all 2015-2017 Performance Pack EcoBoost or Base GT Mustangs, vehicles equipped with an Automatic Transmission will require the Brake Booster and ABS Sensor from a Manual Transmission model to function properly."

One of the reviews from the CJ PP site link above makes mention of needing a brake booster for an automatic, but not the manual.

Didnt Fit
So I bought these for my GT premium and installed them they fit and brakes stopped. It wasn't until I had to really use them they locked up and so I took it to the dealership they said they are not compatible with automatic the brake booster and a couple other things are different basically causing my abs not to work. So unless you have a Manual these wont work. Awesome Product though maybe the will come out with the automatic set up soon.

I put the Bembos on my A/T car a week after I got it, works fine for 9 months I have had the car.

All of our cars have a vacuum brake booster. The differences are related to auto vs. manual (need for clutch line sharing same fluid reservoir) and for the various caliper configurations (larger MC pistons/different bias for the Brembos)

Base brakes + Auto
Base brakes + Manual
GT PP brakes + Auto (50th Limited car only)
GT PP brakes + Manual

To have everything properly sized, you'll want the third one. The base auto one will probably work fine, however.

Just trying to get an idea what to do. So if I have a premium auto GT and installing the GT350 brakes am I good or do I need to get the 50 year edition automatic booster? Also will I need to get he GT350 abs sensors?

Yup I did the Brembo conversion on my base Auto GT.

Works fine.
I've done numerous high speed testing, pushed them hard, and function fine.
