Even the complicated cockpit clocks are simpler than that Breitling... especially the good old ones, lol...

I've been on a buying and selling spree lately... bought the Brellum Pilot, then the bronze bug hit and I found a beautiful Gruppo Gamma bronze Peacemaker in teal, followed by a deal for a Tudor Black Bay bronze in a trade for an Oris 80th anniversary bronze and a Wyler code R Incaflex limited edition... I'll post pics as they arrive

That's a really nice spree! I'm a sucker for bronze cases - I love the patina and how each one is different. I'm particularly interested in the BB bronze, I didn't realize one was available in bronze. Hmmm. Looking forward to the photos!

Not much of a buying spree for me - I’ve got a lot of maintenance spree going on. Hamilton Royal Navy chronograph and an IWC automatic are off for clean-oil-adjust, as is a 1972 Bulova Accutron. When those are back, I’ll send out the early-70’s Omega Geneve f300Hz chronometer.

I am really tickled with this recent buy, though. Not sure what it is beyond an old pocket watch chronograph converted to a wrist watch. I love it, though.

Wow, what a find! That's an old Leonidas from before they merged with Heuer, and before TAG and Heuer merged and Leonidas basically disappeared. They were pretty much killed off by the Quartz upheaval, but came back a few years ago with modern styling and ONLY automatic movements. Serious keeper; you've got a nice bit of history on your wrist!

I had been watching this one on the 'Bay for a year or more and the seller hit me with an offer I couldn't refuse. This movement is a big beautiful piece of mechanical goodness. I've got a nearly identical one from an actual aircraft clock that I was hoping to build into a watch, but this one is ready to go. The other was damaged in shipping, so will be a long-term project. The clock dial is amazing, too. About 60mm though...
