Check out Longines or Tag on the Gray Market. Watchmaxx, Jomashop seem to be two of the best online retailers that are not approved dealers. I have experience with Watchmaxx. Always great service from them. Good luck on your search and purchase. @Matthewstorm

No issues with Jomashop. Good retailer. I was a little disappointed when I couldn’t register my Tag, and I do feel it affected the value when I sold it. But it was 100% authentic and new.

Watchmaxx will give you their two year warranty. I assume Jomashop is similar in offering a warranty. Never had to use the warranty so I cannot attest how their process would work if the time piece needed repair. Buy with confidence though, from either retailer.

I think I’d bite it and pay to have it serviced at Tag if ever a problem.

Honestly, even at Watchmaxx or Jomashop many of the brands are going to be beyond what Matthew is looking to pay ($1K) if he is looking automatic. If he decided to go quartz that opens the doors quite a bit.

Very nice. Just make sure you want a watch that big, 50mm. I have a similar Breitling. My favorite brand of watch. Built like a tank.

Very nice. Just make sure you want a watch that big, 50mm. I have a similar Breitling. My favorite brand of watch. Built like a tank.

I love my Superocean for sure, but aside from the colt and avenger (love those too) I find most other Breitlings a bit gaudy, oddly large and overly flashy.

My brother is a captain for Jet Blue and wears Breitling. When he was in high school he could barely keep his car on the road out of ditches. Soooooo.

Pet peeve of mine - T-Rex hands. I think I understand why they made that choice, but that doesn't make the choice a good one.
