BREITLING, ROLEX, TUDOR, OMEGA, anybody into high end watches?

Just called all the boutiques in my state and a few nearby and its all the same. There is a list for the deposit and a long waitlist.

Looks like I missed out in this one, damn. So my only option realistically would be the secondary market?

Time vs. money. Which do you have more off? Personally I’d call every boutique in the country and see what happens. If that doesn’t get it done get on the waitlist. You never know when that call will come in.

Time is definitely in my favor. It is a nice watch and I really do want one. Just called all of the shops and im SOL lol, only choice I have now is to bend over and spread my cheeks for the secondary market, or wait 5 years for the 55th edition see if I like. The stores told me that they sold out before the watch even got announced so I'll be on the lookout in 2024 to be ready.

Might be a good idea to just buy it and immediately flip it to make someone else bend over and just use the funds to cover the 50th edition. I'll make sure to do it raw to the guy just like how it was for me.

Seiko is actually reissuing their mechanical/automatic chronometers. Surprised they hadn't done it sooner. Not sure if they have the bull's head version though. Omega's are very nice, recently looked at them at a local jewelry store. The store claimed they were showing +/- 1 second per day accuracy on the Speedmaster Professionals. As for special edition Omega's they sell out fast and in many cases appear to hold their value. Really wanted the Ultraman Speedmaster Professional, I actually saw one in a store too, however it was sold and awaiting the customer for pickup.

Early Christmas present from my brother. I've never been a 'watch guy', I have a Tissot and a couple other cheaper ones I've bought over the years. I haven't really looked anything up about this one, I've only worn it a handful of times. His wedding is Saturday, so I got it cleaned up to wear for this weekend.
