1,001 miles: "brake fluid low" warning lights comes on.
Dealer says master brake cylinder is leaking into brake booster.
Both replaced under warranty.
2 days after repair: "Hill start assistant not available" warning light comes on randomly; (wonderful, I can't wait to hear the dealer say he can't replicate the issue)
AND
the cruise control (when turned on) does NOT turn off when depressing the brake pedal; super dangerous as it causes unintended acceleration. You mash the brakes, but the car rockets on at the cruise control's set speed.
Thankfully the cruise control does turn off when dumping the clutch. Lucky for Ford I have a manual trans. otherwise there might have been an accident.
Sure you can also turn off the cruise control by hitting the off button, but in an emergency when all of a sudden your brakes don't work and the car is accelerating finding the little off button is the last thing you'll be doing.
Both of these new issues are most likely related to the previous day's brake repair.
Anyone know what specifially causes either of these problems?
Going back to dealer tomorrow.
