I know this is trivial, but I'm looking to remove the surface rust left behind on the rotor surface after you wash the car and wheels. I know it will be removed after driving, but I'm storing the car right after I washed it. And it looks fugly!

Any ideas?

The surface rust is already dry on them. I do remove the wheels and wax the inside and outside of the wheel. But the rotor surface is the issue.

get a spay bottle with some White vinegar works great ,it cheap and very effective and it's not harmful like strong chemicals.

This is basically what I mean by 'wipe them down'.

P&S Brake Buster can help preventing rust.

Probably only needs to appy the brakes once.

Let the car dry out, then drive it down to the end of the block and back.
