You can get it with a window or without. Personally I like it without the window. It only takes 5 seconds to unscrew the cap and slide the whole thing off for the few times someone actually checks their brake fluid. Or take the cap off and look inside.

Yes, but taking the cap off lets moisture into the system...

It wasn't very hard. I ordered the paint and clear coat from autotouchup.com and sprayed it with a HVLP spray gun from harbor freight. Just take your time and make sure you get it cleaned real good so there are no contaminates. I posted a guide in the DIY forum for painting the coil covers with the same Kona blue color that details all the steps.

Got my reservoir cover in black yesterday.
Very nice touch to finish off my engine bay.

It's a stock GT brace, I drilled out the "GT" and got the SVT emblem on ebay. Perfect fit.

Just out of curiosity, how do you make them? A 3d printer? Looks good.

Ya, they are 3d printed. I use a couple different processes for lettering and such. I've been working on some new designs and ideas. I'm currently working on a plaque that goes over the radiator cutout.

Below is a design I just did for someone.

Have you thought about making inbe for the coolant overflow tank? I think it's American muscle that has one, but it doesn't look too good imo

I'm actually working on a coolant cover. I'm still working on fitment and refining it. Once I get it finished I should be able to do it in multiple colors to match the car colors. I've got some material called PET-G that has the same characteristics as ABS, strong and resistant to High temps.

Just received and installed my brake fluid reservoir cover today (matte black). Absolutely perfect fit and construction--down to the notch cut to fit over the wiring bracket. Thanks, Matt!

Can you show the difference between the gloss black and matte black? Just trying to figure what would go best with the rest of the black in my engine compartment.

The black cover in the picture above (orange engine bay is matte black). The top is going to still have some gloss because of the way it is printed on a smooth glass surface. Sides or matte with a little sheen. Gloss black has some shine on the sides. It's hard to get a good picture, because the flash just makes everything look shiny and no flash just looks flat black....
