If you really want to cool the brakes, don't skip racing brake pads., . .I have some for sale in these classifieds. Another help is 1mm thick Titanium heat shims. Then add some primo brake fluid, the higher the dry boiling point the better, and your trouble should be minimized.
If you haven't experience it yet, let's say doing a DE or Time Trial, in the hot weather, using the brakes in an aggressive manner over a 20 to 30 minure session. your brakes will fade, promise you they will. And If they don't ,you're not using them hard enough. Adding these Cooling brake deflectors, made specifically as bolt replacements for the S-550 with 6 piston Brembo calipers, they will help.
