Has anyone installed the Ford Racing quad pipe with the electric cut outs designed for the Boss?

Exhaust;

Cut outs;

A friend of mine has the 2013 version of this pipe (on a 2013 GT) and it sounds great, but it gets to be too much when sitting on the highway for a long stretch. I figure that the electric cut outs would let me dial things how I want them at any given time, but compatibility seems to be a question mark.
If you've done this let me know, I'm also interested in opinions from anyone who has installed just the quad pipe as well.

I have the quad exit x-pipe with 3/4" plates on my 2016. When I first installed it, I didn't add the restrictors and it was so loud that you couldn't hear the person in the passenger seat at highway speeds. The 3/4 plates dialed it in just right for me. I'll eventually pick up and install the QTP 302 cutouts, but I'm really happy with my setup as-is. It's loud on cold start, but otherwise it's pretty tame unless you get on it.

That kit can be found for much cheaper if you shop around. I have had my eyes on it for a bit. (the side exit). I just wish that the pipes stuck out a little further.

Ordered on Friday, delivered on Monday, not bad!
I hate to say that I'm not going to get to it until the spring, but that's looking to be the case as I'll be putting the car away any day now.
(I tried to make those pictures go the right way... they are in every app I have on my PC and phone, but they just wont show up right once I upload them.)
