I had a 2001 WS6 T/A. It was a beast. Lots of low end torque and different than the Mach 1. Traded that one in on my 2004 GT.
That's for sure . I had an 2001 gt and he had a 2001 pewter metallic WS6 that I jumped on the start and that lasted about 2 secs before he blew by me. Needless to say I traded it after 6 mos of ownership right that for a 2002 z28. The LS 1's we're strong!

I had a 98 Z-28 and caught pure hell from my Mustang buddies. The only time they were not talking, was when the Z was spanking that ass. It was a fun car, and in that era the Mustang was no competition at all for the F-body cars.

100% True- the crappy build quality, leaking T-tops, and headlights that kept getting stuck got the best of all those cars. My 2001 WS6 T/A pewter metallic btw, was pretty scary when you jumped on it with lots of posi movement but no wheel hop that I remember, but the back liked to shift around. Fun car with annoying quirks and quality issues. My 2004 Mustang GT was milder, but it was a convertible and the V8 at the time, 4.6 I think, sounded amazing.

Really nice looking car and love the stance. Lowering springs or Coilovers.

I see your point King Kona. I'm not a collector by any means and never purchased the car to make a profit. The only mustang I profited from was my 66FB I owned for years

Wow, that's a beauty. I haven't seen very many of those, especially with the GT emblem on the front fender. I think that emblem was a purplish-brownish color background if memory serves me right. BTW, I'll be 70 next month and my 2020 GT has under 3900 miles on it which I plan on changing once I get to some open roads on the mainland next year.

Pedders coilovers on the Boss and Eibach Pros on the Bullitt. Bullitt is really limited with the magneride. Honestly Iā€™d rather have the regular setup. I donā€™t even feel a difference in the different driving modes.

I do love the Bullitt but have decided to keep my Boss and don't want two manuals. Going to look for a nice 18-20 GT with an Auto trans and PPI. Depending on the market an M1 may be considered but it's about a $15-$20k upswing and not sure it's justified. After all it'll be my wifes car. It's bad enough she'll have more HP than me. LOL

I am the proud owner of a 13' SBY Boss 302 with just under 5k miles and in pristine condition. I love the new Mach 1 but having a hard time letting go of the Boss to fund a Mach 1. As I get older (67) I'm drawn to a performance car I can get with an automatic trans. Any thoughts out there? Thank you
Sell me the boss and put a down payment on a Mach.

Thanks..........another option I've considered is a nice clean 18-20 GT w/ PP1. I could probably locate a nice one for $15k-20k less less than the Mach and still keep the Boss. The Wife won't drive the Boss which is fine with me, hence looking for an automatic which she could enjoy also.
Thatā€™s what I did. Momma wonā€™t drive the 2017 GT/6sp so I sold it to a friend and bout a 2020 GT Auto. Now if the SUV is down or I need it, she does have a car to drive.

But I do have to hide the keys (in the garage). Sheā€™ll never look there.

I already posted about trading the Boss but wanted to chime in one more timeā€¦

First, I am a HUGE 2013 Boss fan. Wanted to love it and test drove several about 3-4 years ago but eventually decided on a new 2018 GT.

I would really recommend driving the Boss to a dealer to test drive a Mach so you can get the truest back to back experience.

Also agree with @WCRookie99, sounds like a non-handling package Mach might be a better choice.

Yeah, the Boss is more raw than an S550. But so is a Fox body. Or a 1973. Sometimes raw just means outdated.

Having driven both, I canā€™t imagine a scenario where Iā€™d prefer the Boss.
Speaking of Bossā€™. Do you Boss lovers prefer the 2012 or ā€˜13. Besides looks, any big differences before I buy an Orange ā€˜12.

Love the 2013 styling but certain 2012 colors look great.

I bought clearly because I like the hockey stick and the front end better. I do like the colors the 12 offered. Would have been nice to have a 13 in Kona Blue but they went to the Grabber Blue. I looked for one for 6-7 months and gave up. Either to many miles or prices were high because of the lower production numbers. Mechanically I believe the 12 and 13's are identical.

With the next to no miles you have driven the Boss id say keep it, The SBY 2013 is the best year/color in my opinion for the 2012-13 boss.

Take it out on a rainy day, I promise the water monster wont hurt it lol.
