Does anyone know if you can borrow someone's Flare tool that's been used to tune their car? I am planning on a 3.31 to 3.73 full pumpkin swap soon. Reading through various other threads, it seems trying to manually update via FORscan doesn't quite work.

I just dug through all of this recently and it seems its a hit or miss with FORscan. I have a nGuage and Lund told me after my tune for new gear ratios the car should adjust itself when I swap rear gears so it may not even be needed?

It's looking to only be an issue with cars that aren't tuned.

Not sure if you resolved but I can change mine at will with FORscan.

Not an issue yet, but when I install it could be. The only people I've seen have problems are otherwise stock cars (not tuned). Most seem to be able to just put the new gears in for manual cars and it has no issues.

For completeness I would probably update with FORscan.
