I get that companies like Borla need to think about where the market is heading and need to keep innovating new products, but I just want to know what guy in Borla's marketing department actually thought fake engine sounds would be a winning idea with their target market ... way to build your band, Borla!

Electric cars are too quiet. Animals and pedestrians need to hear them coming..

They should make it where you can download any sound you want for your car or spaceship!

I think the Jetsons spaceship sound would be perfect.

Borla is adapting just like any successful business should. Now you won’t have to decide to purchase the ATAK or Borla S. From a research standpoint I thought it was a home run, there’s always risk being the first to innovate-and….the tick problem is finally solved once & for all.

Milltek has been producing faux exhaust for Tesla for several years. This is not a new concept.

This right here. All these aftermarket companies have to adapt or they’ll go belly up. Does that mean they’ll stop making products for ICE cars anytime soon? Of course not. But R&D takes time and money so they have to start now and start testing what the market will go for and what it won’t go for.

With all the 3M stick-on-go fast parts now something this lame is a suprise?

Losing the sound lost the appeal, and the car hoppy dies.

Ever change the wallpaper on your computer or phone? How about your ringtone? Same difference.

I drove a Mach-E GT and found the silence to be quite disconcerting. Having some noise would have been appreciated. If that noise sounds like a Coyote, all the better.
Maybe they should stick to ICE vehicles if they want ICE sounds. Just a thought.

Geez, you are so stuck in the present. Why should they stick to ICE? Every good company has to plan for the future. That's all that Borla is doing.

Sweet. More options for my Mach E. Just waiting on the Ford Performance calibration so I can run 10's.
