After having catless headers installed, I hated my exhaust tone. Rasp and drone increased significantly.

I recently started autocrossing and had to quiet the car for SCCA events.

Here is the result.

Before was a mean sounding track car. Now, the car sounds perfect.

Yo found this while looking for something to tame my exhaust, got stainless power catless headers with mbrp catback, does that resonator take the place of the mbrp H pipe or did you add it along after it?
Also read that the inlet is actually 2.25" not 3, does that interfere with the install or did the shop make it work? thanks!

Have to get the 2018 and above unit and the pipe diameter will be 3" at outlet but smaller at inlet for factory connect. The shop just cut the front of the h pipe off and clamped the resonator in.

Oh ok gotcha, will get the 18+. So the resonator took the place of the mbrp H? Did the shop cut off the 2.25" end or it was just clamped inside the 3" end?
Can't wait to get this installed, my exhaust is so over the top as it is now.

Yes essentially replaced the H. The front just band clamped to the header extension "factory connect" outlet. The rear is 3" so it connected to the MBRP tubes with band clamps also.

Made a huge difference. I hated the sound of my car before. Love it now.
