I’ve got my parts: BMR CB005, BK081, SP763, FC003; Steeda billet rear shock mounts and adjustable bumpstops; plus 19x10 6GRs with 285/35 and 19x11 with 325/30 on the rear. Wheels and tires are on and are amazing, I can’t believe what a difference the Michelins make. Thanks to all for the parts recommendations, install is Tuesday.

Now the questions:

1. Only use the base bumpstops, correct? Seems like Steeda confirmed this for the SP763 springs but wanted to confirm.

2. Rear camber - I believe need4speed and Paul have said -2 and others have quoted higher. Go with -1.9 or even higher given all the suspension bits and my wheel/tire setup?

1. By base bumpstops, that means the longer of the two configurations? Probably. Whichever gets the bumpstop to ~5/8" shorter than the stock ones.

2. Excessive rear camber shouldn't be required to make the wheel fit with these springs (I absolutely despise that practice, also). Target around -1.3-1.5 for rear camber, 0.10 deg toe per side (total of 0.20).

The Steeda bumpstops are 2 pieces/shock. Front with both pieces is 2” and 1.5” without the base piece. Back with both is 2.25” and 1.5” with only the base. I don’t know the sizes of the stock pp bumpstops.

I used the Ford Performance bumpstops with my SP763. Per BMR's instructions, they ask to trim them. Mine looked ghetto after I tried to take a knife to them so I just replaced them instead.

Per BMR: "cut the bump stop so that

Given that the Steeda stops are a different durometer, that may be slightly different, but still a good guideline. I'd probably go with the 2" front and 2.25" rear.

I ended up with -1.5 and -1.8 camber in the front after my alignment. I may need to get some camber bolts or plates for the front since they couldn't get the front back to -1.5 on one side. Everything else was fine though. The difference is negligible, but you can see the difference if you really look hard.

Wanted to share a very good picture that shows our SP763 Springs on an S550 with the added weight of a Supercharger System. Jeff Ashton ran our SP080 Springs, then changed the fronts for the SP089 (turning his kit into the SP763) once he added the Whipple Supercharger System.

This is what these were originally designed for when I added a Supercharger System to my personal vehicle in 2014.

These springs have been a huge success. Thanks for all the support!

Sent you a PM Kelly... was getting ready to install SP080's this weekend. I have a TVS blower and am now concerned it will drop too low with them. Do you know if Jeff Ashton switched them before or after driving with the 080's?

Also, any issues adding the SP089 front performance spring with a handling SP080 spring in the rear if I decide to go that route instead?

I am very backed up on PMs, so let me answer it here.

The SP080 will work fine with added weight.

BUT - it is subjective. Due to the rears not dropping the car significantly, many people think the SP080 full kit with a blower is too low up front with too much forward rake.

On the opposing side, I have PLENTY of people using SP080s with boost and loving it. I will post a pic attached of a boosted SP080 car.

As for the 089/080 rear question - I do not understand what you mean? Are you referring to the combination that this entire post is about? :confused: lol

Thank you Kelly. I appreciate the reply and the pictures. I'm sorry... I have the SP083's, not the SP080 like I said earlier. So I would be running a SP085/SP089 combination if I swap out the SP084's up front for SP089's (performance front, handling rear).

Thank you Kelly. I appreciate the reply and the pictures. I'm sorry... I have the SP083's, not the SP080 like I said earlier. So I would be running a SP085/SP089 combination if I swap out the SP084's up front for SP089's (performance front, handling rear).
I would strongly recommend against this.

Run the Rev C SP084s up front (same drop as SP089, but handling spring rate).

SP083 current design and boost is a winner.
