Hi guys, I’m on the fence about which springs to purchase for my car. I’ve researched about which springs would be best for track use and these 2 are the ones that caught my interest. I like the spring rates. If anyone who has experience with one or both, I would appreciate it, thanks!

Haven't tried the Steeda setup, I have BMR. No complaints on track, autocross or street. They have really woken up the car. Stays nicely planted and transitions much better.

Perfect. I was leaning towards BMR, but my only concerns with them are the drop height. From my understanding it’s 0.25”F / 0.55”R
How does it look from the fronts compared to the rears. Are they uneven? It would really bother me if the rears were lower than the fronts. Thanks in advance!

Whatever spring you go with make sure to clock them bushings after 50 miles or so and than get a alignment.

And yes the bmr does sit lower on the back. But you can always buy a pair of steeda spacers to raise it back up.

Thanks for the info and the heads up about the spacers!

Rodney talks about the springs about the 1:30 mark - with some other goodies for the GT350 :)

Steeda Sport Springs 1" Drop
Steeda Camber Plates
Steeda 28.5mm Drag Race Rear Sway Bar

Spring Rates
Front 170 (lb/in)
Rear 715 (lb/in)

I haven't taken her to the track, so I can't contribute to that....but here's the stance.

The spring rate on the steed is extremely low for a Shelby. The rate on a stock car is 201/914.

It’s a little bit lower than factory spec, but she won’t be on the track. This is strictly a street car and doing high speed pulls with the spirited driving, though per Steeda its good for Street / Track Use. The vehicle feels nearly identical through all the drive modes which is what I was hoping for, even with the lowered stance. With the BMR and Steeda suspension / chassis components, she drives great. The thick rear drag sway bar will keep that ass straight when needed with the slightly softer spring rates

I was actually interested with the magnetize dual rate ultimate handling lowering springs. The drop is 0.500” all around with a dual rate of 220-350 fronts and 800 - 1200 rears
Part number 555-8243
