My car was making all sort of weird noises until i found this thread! Thanks Kelly!
Mine was really lose and had to torque it to 150 lbs again.
Question though, do i really need a new nut or can i just put some red loctite on this one? All noises went away after tightening the nut
I put mine back on and used loctite. After letting it sit and set, I took it on an aggressive run and the noise came back. I'm ordering a new nut.

Are they not one-use torque-to-yield nuts?
I am not 100% sure if they are technically a TTY bolt.

I am almost sure "Ford" suggests replacing - like every other bolt on the car, once loosened.

I have not seen issues re-torquing them.

Just like the caliper bracket bolts. If I replaced those every time I removed the calipers I would not have money for anything else.

I have this as well. Clicking sound that appears to be in the back half of the car. The noise sounds like it's almost coming from the Diff, but it happens at low speeds mainly at decel. Sometimes it does when the car isn't warmed up and I'm just pulling out either backing out or going forward. But mostly in first or second gear when it happens. I'll be looking at this on Saturday along with other mods I've done. Everything works great, just the clicking sound that sounds like a piece of metal hitting another piece of metal making that clicking sound.

What's the best way to torque down new nuts? Hand tight, then final torque with the wheel on the ground (center cap off)? I've read some say the wheel needs to be on the ground but not sure if this is true.

THESE ARE ONE TIME USE ONLY NUTS!
Picked up two of these from O'reilly Auto Parts on the way home from work yesterday. Will be putting them on this weekend to see if it makes the tink tink sound go away.

BMR Tech .. 150lbs & 1/8th turn? Thought it was 98lbs with 1/8th turn. No worries of over-torquing?

Do you have a part number? I may run by O'reilly on the way home and grab two just to have them handy.

I see the OP includes the torque values but doesn't answer my question. Thanks anyway though.
Just put a screwdriver through the caliper and into the disks holes.

Have you tried your local dealer? Mine had a bunch of these in stock - maybe a part they need often? They were around $4 each if I remember correctly.
I picked up Ford part number CCPZ-3B477-F.

Just a note to anyone doing this: I bought a 32mm socket just to find that it was too shallow. I needed a deep well 32mm socket to get this done.
