Well, you will want to use a 28x10+" slick - naturally.I need to change up my suspension game. Going from road course oriented to more drag specific. I understand much of this will be shock settings and alignment but what do you suggest for a MT82 car? They seem to 60ft like a molasses drip in mid winter. (I was hoping I can change this with my 2step- a little boost off the line) and my 3.15 gearing.
Cool, so I'm already pretty close. I'm running the 28x11.5 ETSR BP but plan to get it back on a Hoosier before too long.Well, you will want to use a 28x10+" slick - naturally.
For the suspension, we wanna let the tire do the work more than the suspension absorb (like we do on a radial, we like the suspension to squat smoothly to absorb the hit a little)
A set of Viking B358AM shocks, BMR Handling Rear Springs / Drag Fronts....with a few tweaks here and there, and we can do some work.
For stick shift cars I like a stiff linear rear spring, and the front to sit really nice and low.
Mid 9's isn't easy, but should not be too difficult if you can make the power required.Kelly, I'm trying to get my car ready for a set of turbos, what suspension mods should I put on my list? I want to be on the mid 9s with the stock 6 speed.
