I look forward to seeing your install and your opinion of the CB006 4pt Brace.Well I didn't get mine for $99.00 but in Texas you can get a "sales tax" discount especially if it's the service mgr's birthday, shot out to Jay over at LMR. I'll review it next week as I am tearing down a carport at my cottage and need time for install. Great write-up on "how to." install.
...and the verdict?BMR Kelly, I run through the twisty's and will track the pony as soon as I finish the suspension, you Really Know I will feel the difference, as I am in tune, or One with the Pony. Test Mule, Coyote Red! Reporting for Duty! Update soon.
The Kooks, to my knowledge are the only headers that do not work with this CB006.Kelly, what headers are compatible with this brace? I see Kooks LT's can't work.
Hey Kelly, I bought one of these right after they came out for my' 16 GT and believe it may have been a 1st gen with the cup a bit large. We just finished up a batch of 150 of these, and they are almost already all gone!
Thanks for the Support M6G!
Also, we revised the front mounting cup to make for a tighter fit to the FLCA bolts - so people will not possibly run into fitment issues from here on out.
:ford:
Did this awhile back. Now able to easily bolt on and off for track days. I have no data with or without the scoop.:/ sorrySide Note... I have the CB006 and love it. I am going to attempt to retrofit the ford performance transmission scoop to it in the coming weeks
Definitely! Next time I have it on, which is usually for a track day, I'll snap you a whole bunch of pics.I'll also try to get a measurement from the floor to the scoop. Though in the meantime I have some pics from when I was out at the local track, Hallett, with it on. In a couple of the pics you can visibly see the scoop and its relative distance to the ground.I drew up a cooler to bolt to this CB006 but quickly realized that the ground clearance is significantly reduced.
TwinReverb can you snap some underside clearance shots next time it's on?
