I had all my suspension bits installed and aligned. now my right rear tire is out a 1/4 inch and the left is in that much. I didn't have them install the Steeda alignment kit so I will need to myself. Does anybody know how much needs to be trimmed off of the alignment kit to make it work with the BMR lock out?

Just install half the STEEDA kit ( back half) and you'll be good. But if you really want to also install the front half also, just place a bushing right next to the protruding part of the BMR kit and trim it a proper lenght.

I'm only running half the kit...my IRS is square.

Thanks for the info and feedback. I'll have a look at it and see.

It is not really necessary to run both... but can put the back pins in from Steeda, BMR up front... done. Sell the front ones to a friend and he/she'll have an aligned mostly IRS, too.

Shouldn't the BMR lock out should have gotten that squared up though?

That's a good question and why I posted. Apparently it will but only to a certain point.

The BMR instructions say the following: The BMR Cradle Lockout Kit reduces cradle movement by locking out the rubber bushings on multiple planes. It also eliminates the slack in the large bores of the factory bushings. “Truing up” the cradle like this
makes lining up the smaller 10mm bolt holes difficult due to the precise fit of the components. To get the 10mm bolts to line up with the holes, it will be necessary to pry the cradle into position while inserting the bolts.

Because of that, it interferes with our alignment sleeves.

So we cannot recommend modifying our sleeves.

You should either use our 555-8138 Bushing support system with our alignment sleeves or the BMR kit, so we cannot recommend using our alignment sleeves with the BMR kit.

Best Regards,

TJ

When I ran the CB005 BMR lockout I used the rear Steeda pins as well without issue so combining the 2 is possible. I would not even bother cutting the front Steeda pins as it will not provide any more benefit.

The BMR will align the front of the subframe square but it is possible for the rear to be out a bit which is why I would recommend the rear Steeda pins if using the the BMR lockout.

I've tried just about every option out there and had the same result with either setup (as long as you use rear Steeda pins with BMR lockout) and ultimately I went with Steeda pins and Steeda's subframe inserts because I really wanted to use Steeda's subframe braces as well.

I used all 4 Steeda location bushes with my BMR kit, and just cut the front ones down...:)

I cut of the amount of protrusion on the BMR bracket, plus 3mm...

Awesome thanks. I'll keep that in mind as an option.
