I'd have to look over the car and watch this run in person to believe it. Sorry but pics of a slip and front end doesn't prove this car is n/a running these times. I'm guessing a sneaky pete is being used... show me a video of the trunk area, and interior, then hop in the car and send it for a run all in one unedited video for us to see, and if its true then, I'll eat my hat for ya. It takes 600 whp with a 3700 lb car with all other variables being perfect to see a time like this, so you are claiming you make 600 wheel hp n/a? And you are telling us that you've somehow managed to take nearly 400 lbs out of the car by just removing seats and swapping brakes? LOL. I was born at night...but it wasn't last night. Edit, I'd also like to see that video show you sitting in that car and it weighing 3500 lbs. My base GT weighs nearly 4k lbs with me in it (an extra 220 lbs) and 1/2 a tank of fuel, and I have lighter brakes, no cats, no mufflers and skinnies, with full interior.
Believe what you want. Wait until you see my next time slip. You going to cry. Lol

Its already been proven Gen 3 with weight reduction will go tens . The impressive thing is OP did this with a 1.58 sixty @ 132 with a stock converter!
Congrats OP ! No hate here ..
Haters. Its not my fault he is slow. He clearly is upset with Blue 18 running a 10.53

This is so funny to me. We all in this together but i post a time clearly faster than any of you but you come back with hate. You have no idea the time and effort we have put into Blue 18. The crazy thing is after some tuning and changes im about to run a low 10 with stock converter and no nitrous. Good luck to all you guys.

I know these 10R80 setups are running some great times. With proper mods and E-85 the car can likely find 500RWHP...maybe more. Shifting at 7800-8100 RPM also helps. I do suspect the way it left there is a transbrake on it if not also a stall converter. IF the car really weighs 3500# and given it makes over 500RWHP and has the advantage of the 10R80 then it is fully conceivable. I ran 10.82 best with 540RWHP on 93octane (FI setup I admit) @ 130MPH in good air in a 14 GT 6R80 that weighed 3919 with me and the spare tire in it. And did this with the shift points at 7300 RPM on a 1.62 60ft. So I call legit to the non-believers though I had to think it through. Granted I would be inclined to think that there maybe a bit more to the diet that is not being admitted to like a K-member upgrade but that said... GO EAT SOME 2020 GT500's and make them cry! LOL!

BTW what gear is it running?

I love sleepers!

That's fantastic!

Did it take any big tune changes for the CJ setup or just for the TB and new MAF numbers?

My tune has a transbrake feature on the 18s using the paddle shifters. I can tbrake up to 3000rpm on stock converter. The 10r80 is a whole different animal. I do make over 500hp to rear tires. 3.55 gears. A k member saves about 25lbs on the 18s which im doing but not a lot. Any weight helps.

Weight is weight they say.....

Umm no its even better when its shedding rotating mass.

Being Brakes and drag wheels and tires.

If the wallet can swing it id do AED knuckles and 15s out back too.
