Blank Tail Light Panel Issues?

For anyone who's bought one of the Ford Racing Tail Light Panels, does yours have a blemish or indention in the center? Does anyone have a panel without it? i.e. "perfect"

I've seen a couple people say that theirs did have the indentation and I have also seen one say his was perfect

They all have that. I even contacted Ford Racing about it...

According to a dealer I was trying to buy one from, some panels have been recalled due to "damage". This would explain why everyone I've contacted is out of stock.

Also, how noticeable is the defect?

I have it. It's not that noticeable. No one has noticed it yet unless I show them. I knew what to look for already before I got mine or I might not have seen it either.
