Black exhaust tips on stock mufflers?

So I’m a big fan of low key bling...so much that I don’t even like my polished stainless exhaust tips. Has anyone replaced just the tips with black versions? I’ve looked at Borla, Magnaflow, and even eBay and I haven’t found anything that is swappable without messing with the valve.

Remove your exhaust, mask off the mufflers and spray them with Cerakote (C-7600 Glacier Black). It’s high temp (I believe up to 2000 degrees) and it air dries. I had the heat shields sprayed on my Street Glide and they turned out perfectly.

Plasti dip, had it on my 16 for over a year no issues.

i searched for weeks looking for 5" black tips. no luck

Just call @LethalPerformance and order a Borla, you wont regret it

Ya know I like the sound but I don’t want to spend $2K on an exhaust when I love the stock sound. At most I’d replace the resonators. I just visually prefer blacked out tips.

I have the Ford Performance by Borla exhaust with black tips. Goes great with my car. And the sound is awesome.

I went with plasti-dip route, looks great and it has held up well!!

I dropped the exhaust and sprayed them with gloss black engine paint and they came out great.
