Here you go, guys.... a little inspiration....

It's a working shop, so not too pretty, but it functions well for storage, serves as a gathering spot for my car guy buddies, and let's me tackle just about any restoration or maintenance project.

It's in a private hangar community at a small municipal airport that's less ten minutes from home. Gated and patrolled, an airport is an ideal place to have a shop. I occasionally host a transient plane that is passing through the area (during the summer when space allows) and the one hanging from the ceiling is my on-going project.

Hahahahaha.... almost forgot about the R model wheel table.

(Backstory - it's a development and engineering evaluation wheel that somehow found it's way onto eBay a couple years ago. There was some discussion around the forum about it and I thought it'd make a nice addition to the hangar, so there you have it.)

Our photographer spotted a Black 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang testing in Dearborn and wearing a front bumper with the GT500 emblem in teal color.

Looks like a pretty vibrant color for that GT500 marking! It almost makes me wonder if it actually has some sort of backlight, which would be pretty cool IMO!! Especially one that would allow you to match it to your "ambient lighting" color.

It's also nice to see a "non-Track Pack" variant as well, as all of the ones unveiled last month seemed to have all of the Track Pack stuff on them. Still a freaking badass looking car! I was sold on day 1 (even with the teasers/leaks beforehand haha) ! Now to wait for the release of a manual version... sigh

I’m a fan of black cars obviously. But from what I’m seeing. I like the lighter colors or the outrageous colors on the GT500. Seams to show the lines off better.

^^^ Agree, it looks really understated in black.... unlike us, anyone not in the know would have a hard time distinguishing it from an every day GT.

It'a mule. If I were to buy one it would most certainly have to be a track pack. Why? Because I purchased one below at the launch of the 350. After buying the R I realized that it was a stupid decision compromising in cost over performance and I had an MSRP deal on my order. Now if they do like Porsche and slip in a GT500R I would be pissed after purchasing the track pack.

Enough about the looks... I wanna know how it drives, how much it costs, and how it performs! An extra 10-15hp is not worth the wait. You won't really care once you have the car. They could've had an extra 5 months worth of sales, which means that the car would be a lot more profitable AND customers would get them in time for Spring and Summer driving.

There is no excuse for reliability and durability issues with the GT500. They've put way too much time into the car for it to have widespread issues.

The design really does need a little more contrast to make the front end pop. I think the money is going to be a medium gray/silver with an option for a red interior/Recaros !
