Sooo since we have all this down time I decided to give myself something to do. I got a set of catted SP headers and AWE Touring cat back. Great deal on both.

Also to be a little more track prepped, I got a Schroth Quick Fit.

Plan for headers and cat back to go on next week. I just have to re angle the O2 sensors at an exhaust shop so it'll be e85 friendly.

Well well, you certainly are moving up in the mods department! The headers kind of completes the package since you've already upgraded the intake. Very nice indeed.

Haha trying to catch up to you! I believe outside of cams and going catless, that sums up all I can do for power.

Soooo I had the headers installed with the Borla Atak and to be honest I donā€™t get how people can run catless headers with the Ataks. Drove home from the shop and switched to the AWE and it sounded MUCH better. I have adjustments to make but the cat back is quality and itā€™s definitely louder but more refined than the Ataks. Very pleased. Will upload videos soon. Sent my logs to Shaun for my final tune.

I am looking at how to keep myself busy so I think I am going to get splitter rods from Fully Torqued Racing and connect them to underneath the crash bar. Hopefully I can pick up a VT Big Mouth to do it at once

Loving the build so far. Those Apex wheels are something I've been eyeing up, very aggressive set up. What were your thoughts of the gt350 front and rear bars compared to the PP ones? Something I've been considering upgrading to because of the cost. Are you north of Baltimore? Some of your early photos look like Towson/Bmore city.

Thank ya kindly! Im in love with the wheels and its simplicity.

To be honest, because I had/needed help and space, I installed 98% off my suspension components at one time. I dont have much feedback of each piece. I did the bars with everything (springs and bracing) initially but I will say that going form the GT350 front far to the BMR made a difference for sure. Also with something like that, I dont think you can really see a huge difference outside of the track and high speed turns. Also, I think the pricing went up on the bars. I paid less than $115 at the time ( a year ago) for front and rear.

I live near Arundel Mills mall/casino so most of the pictures are from the area.

No big progress.
I put on J&M spherical vertical links. Went out for a drive and it seems like I 100% got rid of any wheel hop. It doesnā€™t drive any differently because of everything I already have. Everything is TIGHT. Canā€™t wait until warmer days on the track. Sooo that pretty much wraps up any suspension upgrade (except for adjustable rear toe links) that I can do. I donā€™t even remember what stock suspension feels like.

I ordered splitter rods from Fully Torqued Racing so Iā€™m just waiting for that and the Velossa Big Mouth to come in. Wi

So the rods came in from Fully Torqued. I ordered 10" custom length rods with premium hardware. In case the rods were too long I ordered another rod that is .5" shorter.

So yesterday I had 3 things to get done: Velossa Tech Big Mouth, mount rods to crash bar, add more bolts to the ZL1 splitter to secure it in the corners.

Got the grille cut for the big mouth.

Next, with the rods, there was an issue because they sent out screws that were .75" long but the splitter is 3/8" thick. I went out to Lowes and bought 1" bolts to secure the rods to the splitter.
Jeff Ashton made a video of him installing his splitter to his GT350 and I followed his method of mounting to the crash bar (or at least that was the plan)

I had trouble drilling into the crash bar. Drill bits were breaking and didn't have much success. I decided that my splitter is good for now especially with the extra bolts. I will try again before my first track day June 21 at Summit Point. At least I got the measurements so to speed up the process, I will try a buy a crash bar and try again with it off the car.

For anybody who is mounting to the crash bar, the measurements are
101cm width
4.5 in tall
~2 in thick

To have access from top to bottom you will need a drill bit thats longer than 2 inches. As you can see the bar folds.

Its not difficult to do and had I used a stronger, better bit, I wouldve finished.

In the meantime I am looking to pick up MRR M600 in a 19 x 11 square set up( staggered offsets) and RE-71Rs before first track day.
