Got almost 5k off mine. It was only sitting in the showroom for about a month. Fully loaded MSRP was 67k.

I couldn't wait for my custom order in Austin, TX (all black with all options GT350).

Doing a refinance now since I rushed it. If you get yours delivered, just tell the dealer to remove the front splitter (mine got damaged, just a pain to deal with their insurance).
I just picked up a 2019 with a $64,900 MSRP for $57,000 last week. The car has a blend date of 08/15 and sat on the showroom floor its entire life. I researched the Ford Inventory website, car gurus, cars.com and auto trader and found deals all over the country. In the end a dealer located near me ended up matching the pricing. I had a 2016 GT350 and sold it a few years ago and just happy to be behind the wheel of the flat plane crank again.

In the market for an R as we speak/type....glad I came across this thread. I've been researching and reading and watching anything I can find about the GT350R's. Been watching the market for the past 2 months now........here's what I came across.....
I've seen clean low mileage 2016/2017 GT350 R's hover around $57k to $60K and the higher mileage and modded samples anywhere from high $40k to mid $50k....
while a spattering of 2019 GT350 R's just slightly above to the mid $60k range...Such a tough call - do I as a buyer wait another month or pull the trigger on "the deal" of the month

IMHO if you find the car you want with the pricing that is out there now I would recommend pulling the trigger. I talked to many dealers over a weeks time and what surprised me was that a lot of dealers said they were really busy. I couldn't tell you if they were just saying that but I have to assume the low financing out there for other vehicles hopefully is helping them a little. Some of them though I have to assume weren't weathering the storm as well as their pricing was with no trade.

I seriously doubt dealers are "really busy' right now. April numbers are down 40-60% at most car dealers year over year. That is a massive decline and the worst car sales numbers since the Great Recession in 2009.

Agreed on the post above....We have an Audi and the lease is up. I tried to schedule a lease return last month and they would not take it. I just got notified now and they are doing lease returns on an appointment basis just between the hours of 12pm to 1pm. I walked in to two separate Ford dealerships here in the SF Bay Area and the sales department only had 2 sales man working and one was out picking up lunch for the whole crew working that day.....doesn't seem too busy at all.

One benefit of the shelter in place is that many dealers make the remote process easier. But some dealership people are only working on days MWF. I was overnighted paperwork and had my car delivered in 1 week from start to finish. However, in hindsight I would have asked the dealer to remove the front splitter to avoid delivery damage.

I picked up a new 2018 in WI for 19% below MSRP of 63k. It had 60 miles on it and never put in service. I am loving it. Orange Fury w/ black roof and stripe.

Back before the virus shut my car buying fantasies down in mid-March, I found a new Magnetic '19 sitting on a dealer floor in Iowa for $56,600 (sticker was $65K and change, IIRC). I think it could have been had for even less.

I was thinking hard about a GT350 versus waiting a while longer to find a MSRP deal on a GT500. Then the virus hit and my job security went from fantastic to red alert, so there shall be zero big ticket items for this guy for the foreseeable future. My lowly, paid-off GT will suffice just fine until the air clears....

That's nuts. I've been looking since early March (had one sold out from under me for $58k), then the pandemic hit, similar situation, etc...

Job outlook is better, so I'm looking again. MN seems to have the best deals, but still most are just shy of $60k.

I put all of the remaining 2019 non-R GT350s within driving distance (includes about 10 states) into a spreadsheet so I can compare packages and quickly get back to the dealer's websites.

Interesting stats out of 35 cars still on lots:
  • 23 are below MSRP, 6 are "call for price", 5 are MSRP, 1 is $11k over.
  • Best price is 10% off, most I assume are at invoice (4-5% off).
  • TWO have Recaros, all the rest are sport seats.
  • Three have painted black roof.
  • Oldest blend date is 2/27, newest is 8/13.
  • The cheapest MSRP on my list is $64,030 with only Tech Pack and Sport Seats. It's "call for price".
  • One car has every option, including Ruby Red paint MSRP is $67,340 and is listed at $65,076.

Best part... I found two cars at a dealership in northern California, both with a $20k ADM.

The best deals will be negotiating with dealers vs the online price. I would pick your top 3-5 cars you like and start pitting dealers against one another.

The HO was an R code, same code as Boss 351 in 71
That’s correct. I had a Boss 351... during the restoration the block was swapped without my knowledge and I ended up having a Boss 351 in spirit.

I still have my 71 429CJ sportback though... a lot of sentimental value there.
