I was hard set on using Wengerd. A shop local to me, that I have built up some trust in, has convinced me to use Juggernaut, so I will be using to the shops dyno to get my tune dialed in when I am ready. I would have no issue using either Juggernaut or Wengerd... those would be my top 2 choices.

When I read that I flashed to Happy Gilmore when he did the Subway commercials.
What have you accomplished lately besides sweet fuck all.
You need to jump into your 'tuned' 12.8 ride & go cry on a gravel road.

You need to jump into your 'tuned' 12.8 ride & go cry on a gravel road.
I learned how to drive on gravel roads, I wish i could find some to cry on.

12.8 was 2 years ago and I'm not a drag racer. I like corners. I'll bet a real drag racer could drop my best by half a second in my car.

Still waiting for you to post up a time slip.

Great. Yer tune still couldn't go faster than stock.
Slow at the strip, slow in the corners. You're a rock star.

Well my second job for the last 40 years has been a lead guitar player in a rock band. I did a 5 year stint playing Malcolm in a tribute band.

Am I a rock star? No.

But I played one at the bar tonight.

Any love for Livernois out there? Leaning towards going with them for a flex tune.
They do a great job. They're not as aggressive as some of the other tuners, but on the flip side they have one of the only aftermarket CARB certified tunes I can think of. You'll see pretty good gains from a flex tune, but obviously much more so when you run E85. Only downside of flex tunes (not specific to Livernois) is the car sometimes takes a long time to learn the new fuel when you switch, and because of the safety factor it's not as much power as a tune that only expects E85.

I’m very Happy with the Livernois flex on my 21 Mach 1.
They were able to give me a revised tune for the A10 so it doesn’t shift as aggressively. And when I switch fuels, I’ve never had the car run bad, I just take it easy for 10-15 minutes for it to learn the fuel.
Even running on 93 the car feels more responsive and powerful

Right, it didn't. Hence yer GT350 IM. Every time I mention Diablosport you jump on it like a tic to a dogs ass. Don't be hating cause you couldn't get free software from them.

So which tune you running ? Your's ? Five star ? Ain't saying much now is it. Right forgot.. yer a corner guy. Gotta carry that RPM through those corners. What happen to I don't wanna downshift for power ? out the window ? like every other idea you every had ?

Not best for everyone. It works well with the 6R80 trans. 18 up truck mani.

But ur a 6R80 car.. with a GT350 IM. A monkey could do the same job. You won't be any faster w/ different driver.

But ur a 6R80 car.. with a GT350 IM.


Because it is a 6r80 the 350 IM is not real good. The 1-2 shift puts it back to 4400 RPM and the 2-3 drops to 5000. It spends most of it's time in the 18 up trucks sweet spot.
Now on a road course the 350 mani works well since i rarely get in a gear lower than 3rd.

This is obviously track dependent and on some tracks the 18 up truck mani is the best option.


When I say a real drag racer could lower my ET is from seeing this happen. Two drivers in the same car and one is faster. (quicker) Yes, auto trannie
