Hey all,
I have a 2017 GT. Was a victim of hit and run. Need to replace passenger door. Found another door in the same color. What is the best way to remove and reinstall the door without doing major alignment? The spare door I got has hinges attached to it. I was thinking of leaving my stock hinges bolted to the body and just undoing the nut numbered #1 in my picture. Would that be possible? Any help greatly appreciated.

Could probably use a paint pen or marker and outline the bracket, so when you install the other door you can try to line it up with your markings, then fine tune the fitment from there

If your door was damaged, there’s a good chance your hinge is bent even though you can’t see it, so use the hinge mounted on the replacement door, put the bolts and washers in the same spot as the old ones (you can see the placement in the paint). Carefully close the door lifting the handle.....chances are you’ll have to do some adjusting to get the fit right no matter what you do.

Its light damage to the door, not enough to bend the hinges but enough that's it's not worth fixing. The bolts that are numbered 1 in my picture does not have adjustment so it seems to be the most logical place to undo.
