Does anyone remember when Obama announced the death of bin Laden? He walked up to the microphones, smiled at the cameras, for once he did not look to a teleprompter, and the first words out of his mouth were, "I got him."

That still makes my blood pressure spike. He didn't say we got him, or our soldiers got him, or Seal Team Six got him, or the forces of truth and justice got him, he said "I got him." All I could think was, No you didn't. You sat there in a padded chair in an air-conditioned office thousands of miles away from the action and you heard about it from the people who had the guts to go out and do it.

That moment convinced me that Obama is not a team player. He's smart enough to say the right things about cooperating and working together, but in that unguarded moment, I think he spoke from his heart, and he spoke alone. He just doesn't get the concept of taking one for the team.

Yeah nice try, but I watched that speech live on television when it interrupted local programming. He did say at one point β€œWe got him.”

Either you imagined something that never really happened to help justify whatever you believe about Obama for unrelated reasons, or you watched some kind of doctored bullshit from Fox News and were gullible enough to fall for it.

You have to pay for kids to go to school, even if you don't have kids, you have to pay for Fire, Police, NASA, even tho your house is not burning down, getting Robbed, or flying to space.
So at what point are you not ok paying for everyone else? If you cannot answer this you may be a socialist.

You notice that video starts after he's already standing at the mike and begun to read his prepared teleprompter statement? That's some suspiciously convenient editing.

It seems like this is the wrong video. It's not the one Blue Moon was talking about where Obama says, "I got him." Why are you posting it?

There is no video where he says that. It never happened, unless you can find something.

I can only comment on presidents that have been in office during my adult life. I can say who the worst has been and without a doubt that was Barack Obama followed by Jimmy Carter who was a nice guy but very ineffective. To say the best at this point would be Ronald Reagan. Trump still has a way to go but what I will say is that Trump has done more to keep his promises than any other president I have ever seen. How it all turns out at the end of his term Still Remains to be seen

I love the way Schumer said "HE (Trump) is not getting HIS wall. That says it all.
It isn't about what the people want, it's about we won't let Trump win. So much for government working in the interest of it's people.

That is a very insightful point. I never really noticed how he said that. The stench of Schumer's smugness is wretched. That just goes to show the absolute conceited behavior of the establishment politicians. Interested in their own political status and power. Even though I'm very conservative, I have to objectively admit I see it blatantly on both sides of the aisle. They obviuosly don't even care what the people want.

Most politicians are just looking to maximize their paychecks. They don't want to solve problems, because that doesn't make them money. They want to have many problems that organizations will pay for assistance with. And they want the "solutions" to be temporary so they can keep coming back for more money. It's pretty sad.
