Does anyone remember when Obama announced the death of bin Laden? He walked up to the microphones, smiled at the cameras, for once he did not look to a teleprompter, and the first words out of his mouth were, "I got him."
That still makes my blood pressure spike. He didn't say we got him, or our soldiers got him, or Seal Team Six got him, or the forces of truth and justice got him, he said "I got him." All I could think was, No you didn't. You sat there in a padded chair in an air-conditioned office thousands of miles away from the action and you heard about it from the people who had the guts to go out and do it.
That moment convinced me that Obama is not a team player. He's smart enough to say the right things about cooperating and working together, but in that unguarded moment, I think he spoke from his heart, and he spoke alone. He just doesn't get the concept of taking one for the team.
