Both Lund and PBD will tune on an MPVi2+ as long as you're using the TDN app. PBD will also tune on SCT devices.

Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

Thanks!
Does Lund have a Flex Fuel Tune for 2021 Mach 1?
Is 70% Ethenol E85 good enough to run a E85 Tune? And is it worth it if your E85 is only 70%?

Hi!

To answer your questions in their respective order...
Yes there is a flex fuel tune via Lund; 70% is worth it (and adequate although 85% is recommended on a boosted car at higher HP... the tuners will talk more on this).

Let us know if we can help out :)

Big fan of Wengerd. Iā€™ve had a bunch of tunes on the coyote. Steeda, Lund, PBD, a loca tune. Wengerd has been my favorite so far.

Thank you for the response.
So this is where Iā€™m confusedā€¦ why does Lund tell me they do not make a flex tune for my 21 Mach 1. They say the other tuners arenā€™t doing it right and it doesnā€™t work.
I donā€™t understand how I am getting. 2 different stories on the same tune either offered from you or direct from Lund?

On '21s - we're thinking of PBD. They will do a Flex on a '21. Not sure Lund won't do it on a 21/22 right now, but I am sure they will in the future. I prefer using dedicated 93/E85 tunes anyways.

Why do you prefer that?

Well that is pretty crappy for how much it costs to get a tune. I was out looking for one & being I don't have a device all 3 of the top tuners rounded up at about almost $1k. Not worth it imo for the time being. I can see how headers, exhausts ,& others parts have almost doubled in price in the last few years due to the price of metals & other factors. But the price of tunes have also increases by a lot & for no reasonable reason.

Usually yes. Trims will pull some fueling back some to maintain targeted lambda. 70% offers the same knock resistance and 95% of the combustion cooling as 85%. People are just too lazy to mix or uneducated/paranoid using less than 80-85%.

70% is worth every bit absolutely.

Agreed 70 is more than worth it. If running a flex tune then I would say even the e54 they have in places as flex fuel is worth it. The power and cooling is there.

Good input guys, thank you.
I only have one gas station that offers e85 near me and Iā€™ve tested it twice this summer. Itā€™s a Thortons

Do these tuners support the SCT BDX device? Or would I have to order a new HP tuners device? :(
AED does for sure support SCT. Sean is a wizard on our platform. PBD may too but not sure. Many do not anymore.
