2016 mustang got California special triple yellow
hey yall, im looking for some advice on what the best throttle body to put on my 2016 gt mustang. the current throttle is making noise and about to fail. the car has a 2018 manifold and is setup to run e85.

Find another stock one. There is no reason to go bigger. And you won't need a tune revision.

In 18 they changed it to digital control. Otherwise it is the same size. The stock 80 mm TB has been good up to around 900 HP.

So get a model year 2015 to 2017

Get another stock oem throttle body. You would not need a tune.

Stock throttle body flows 913 CFM. No need for anything bigger.

Ignore that stupidity about the 80 flowing to 900hp, you can push 900 through a straw if you push enough boost. The tests with the 90mm are 8hp from the bottom to the top of the curve across the board this shows a restriction.

This on boosted or na setup?

Looks like Ford specified 913cfm for the 80mm TB. No go for 2015+

The 2015 issue is because of the throttle wiring. There is a harness to correct that now. Also JMS has a throttle enhancer that will fix it too
