Why not just wait for the gt500? You would have to rip the voodoo apart and reinforce the meat of the motor. I dont see that as feasible. A few have done it, but again, lots of work

I'd look at the modded shelby gt350s group on Facebook...plenty of boosted voodoo's and people to help answer your questions. You just kind of get looked at funny when asking that question here for some reason

the internals are good on our engines. it's all forged. no need to beef up the internals i have added FI to over 3 dozen cars these are all ready. Just make certain you have enough fuel and all is good.

Depends on what kind of power you want...

Instant torque hit and more low end grunt? Go with a Whipple.

More linear power that feels similar to a higher hp n/a car? Go with a Procharger.

ESS is the biggest supercharger for the E92 M3 platform. I know they are developing a supercharger for the GT350 as well. I've seen pictures. :)

You might want to reach out to the people at www.esstuning.com for more information.

I cringe when people boost these cars. To each their own, and it's your money, but this car wasn't designed for it. It would be like boosting a Porsche GT car, it's not in the car's spirit. I would wait for the 500 or boost a regular GT.

I looked into this a while back. IIRC, it was s 20k proposition due to a partial rebuild. Yes, I know Hennessey is a crook, but at the time, it was them or lethal and both involved major work.

To each his own. The car was purpose built to be what it is. Throw a supercharger in it and the end result will change it from a track car to more of a drag car. That is what directed my comment about getting a gt500.

To each his own.

And as long as you keep boost to about 8lbs. You don't want to be busting cranks with the FPC and anything over 8-9lbs. of boost.
