Jeez can't believe there isn't more news on this. I and the rest of the R camp have been waiting on a Cup 2 alternative in OEM sizing for ages. Less hard core primarily in the treadwear dept and maybe a bit better wet performance if caught out in the rain. This is primarily for a spirited street weekender use case.

The RT660 appear better than the SC2 in both wear/wet. Only downside is apparently ride quality/noise.

My current PS4s in 305/325 are great but the rounded rear end poke in 325 drives me nuts. 305s in PS4 are a bit too small. I wouldn't mind a more hard core tire. The SC2s appear to last about ~6k on the street. The PS4s about 30k. If the Falkens can hit 15k and be cheaper than both PS4s/SC2s... I found my next tire.

305 4S wont fit on the rear R wheel? i wouldn't like the 325 poke on the rear but wanted the 4s.

I make look into these tires to maintain the high grip level of sc2 on cf wheel instead of the 4s. Thanks for posting this.

They do work. Some folks run 305/305 or even 295/305. One size up or down doesn't matter too much when it comes down to it.

From a looks perspective from the OCD of us 325s do poke on the rear 11.5s. 305s look good on the rear 11.5s... but then the OCD in me would be annoyed that I'm running a slightly smaller tire hah. 315s would be perfect even if the tire had more of a rounded corner like the 4S ā€” having a tendency of looking wider than a squared off tire like the Cup 2. The front 11s with 305s look perfect for example.

The GT350R rears are a bit more of a positive offset than I'd like also accentuating the tendency for "poke". The GT500 CFTP rears appear to be inset more than the GT350Rs and fixed this problem annoyingly.

Considerations, wear, grip and cooler weather driving.
Pirelli P Zero PZ4 or the Michelin Pilot super sport.

I`ll be peeling off the cup 2's as soon as i get it in the garage.

I`m going to try and find a site that compares the 2.

I absolutely hated the stock tires on my 2018 GT350, which tramlined worse than any tire I've ever owned. I might have held on, hoping I got used to it, but I also wanted to improve wet traction, and I wanted to be able to drive the car in cold weather. So I installed a set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS3s, and have loved them. Little to no difference in handling (tho' I don't track the car, so what do I know?!), spectacular ride, very firm and stable.

Do they come in sizes for the GT350? I don't see them in the standard sizes 295/35/19, 305/35/19 that the GT350 uses.

I installed 255/ZR-19s in the front; 275/ZR-19s in the rear, on Forgeline monoblock custom forged wheels

I have a set of cups 2's on classified right now. I am also looking for a replacement tire, but there are so few options with the 35 sidewall. I would take the jump to the 305/30/19 and 325/30/19 PSS 4s, but I am concerned there would be a HUGE wheel well gap on my base 350. Is there anyone with the base 350 (not lowered) running the 305/325 combo with pics?

The difference on the front is 12mm, the rear would be about 9mm. Will your eye pick up the difference? I donā€™t know but Iā€™m no fan of very low profiles tires and bad roads. Strictly a track car, different story.

Well that changes things doesnā€™t it. Much skinnier tires will change tram lining for sure regardless of tire type.

I agree, I would prefere not to have the skinny sidewalls as well. With that small of a gap, I dont think I would notice at all.
