Guys & Gals, what's the best street heat extraction hood in your opinion?

I was looking at this one from Trufiber, thinking it was pretty good:

This Australian company makes an aluminum version. I’ve been meaning to research if we can get it here.

That hood looks to be based on the actual mustang GT4 hoods - so it's probably fairly effective. I've been debating that hood myself.

Unfortunately none of these hood companies do any actual testing. That's why a lot of track guys use race louvers as they provide a lot of data to back up their claims.

It was based on that hood and the gt500 hood. That the Shelby only 500KR hood.

Unless they do actual airflow testing, that's a no for me. Then it's just for looks.

That's what I'd do. I will probably do that at some point, but I need to replace my hood first. The dreaded corrosion from the 2015 MY.
Race Louvers is the only one I've ever found to have claimed to do aerodynamic testing. That said, they have kind of a less polished road car look to them. But I'm sure many like that.

I'm getting tempted to get an eBay hood and add RaceLouvers to it and just use it on track, then keep my current one for driving around. Best of both worlds and it's <ÂŁ400 + paint for a decent looking eBay hood.

For heat extraction, the best thing you can do is duct the radiator.

RL has some good wind tunnel data, and provides suggestions on what can be done to increase DF, increase airflow, etc...it's still worth a read even if not going with their product.

For example, a gurney flap on some of these hoods would help with cooling.
