In case anyone was wondering - I got a quote to wrap my PP1 spoiler in black - $450 - I felt that was expensive but it does look like a nasty thing to wrap vinyl on...
paint it at that price. wrap looks tacky around edges and rolls like a spoiler. it will eventually peel, and just doesn't look as nice

@Justin @BlownGP Does your spoiler wrap over the rear of the deck lid like the OEM one? Or do they sit completely flat? Do you guys have any more pics from different angles? I'm trying to find the closest match to the OEM design possible.

Thanks!!

Mine wraps down around the edge like you are talking about.

I purchased the Ikon GT500 spoiler in black. I'll post a thread when I install it to show wether or not it covers the holes from my PP1 spoiler 👍🏻

Wraps fine for something small, interior parts etc.. but actual wrap outside to elements looks bad quickly. It’s just a sticker

Awesome, thanks! You wouldn't happen to have any more pics of yours would you? Everyone only ever seem to have pictures on there website of the OEM one 🤷‍♂️

I have had it since February of last year. I love love love it. I was not a spoiler guy, but when I ordered my car I only ordered it with a spoiler so I could take it off and install this one. This is THE perfect spoiler for the S550.

Hey Justin, from what i can see from your pics it sits flush with the edge of the trunk. The OEM one is quite noticeable the way it wraps over the back of the deck lid. Unfortunately its hard to tell in the pic i posted due to the lighting, but it definitely wraps over the edge a lot more than yours.
Thanks though!!

Agree that's flush...

Do you know if it is hollow like some of the other ones in this thread?

It's hollow. Feels very sturdy though. I swung it around like a Klingon battle axe a bunch before I installed it, as one might do.

Is the GT500 oem piece completely solid all the way through? I'll likely never have one to drill into 🙂

I didn't realize spoilers were solid until I saw people complain here about it. You know this one does have all the holes for the screws, not sure what would stop a determined individual from filling the insides with something to make it more solid. 😂
