4 Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts

Good morning fellow enthusiasts. It is with great honor and privilege that we officially introduce Project 6GR's new design for the 2017 season. Respectfully the wheel is called Project 6GR - Five. The five of course referring to wheel spoke design, where as the original design will be now called Project 6GR-Seven.

The Project 6GR -Five design has been in development as a collaboration between our wheel designers and also fellow enthusiasts like yourself. We have been paying close attention, listening, and taking notes very carefully to be able to deliver exactly what you have asked for. The end result of this teamwork is this simple & clean timeless 5 spoke design. We would like to thank everyone that provided their suggestions, comments, and feedback

The overall design pays homage to the original Project 6GR- Seven design by incorporating the same smooth continues lines that flow throughout the entire wheel. The spokes extending to the edge of the barrel provide a "larger" overall diameter appearance and also aids in providing strength and a higher load rating during tests. The larger openings in-between the five spokes will allow for the maximum viability of the nice braking components equipped on the S550 platform, especially those nice Brembo brakes.

You will be happy to know that all the fitment specifications will remain the same as the initial Seven spoke design. This means that the same deep concave design will be present on both the front and rear wheels. Shelby GT350 owners will have the R-spec option once more which uses 19x11 front and 19x11.5 rear with its super deep dual concave front and rear.

Something new for the 2017 season are new sizes we are working on with fellow enthusiasts.

We are looking into developing 18" diameter in different widths depending on the feedback/demand we receive.

We are also developing a B-spoke custom program where we will offer the wheels as raw. As a raw wheel you will be able custom select your offset, width, and finish with almost any color finish of your choice. :headbang:

Estimated Project Completion: Spring of 2017 (April-May)

Pre-orders are officially being offered exclusively to the Mustang6G community first. It's only a small token of our appreciation for the love and support the entire community has shown us. Thank you a million times!!!

I'd be interested in an 18x11 square set for the GT, rotatable, and an 18x10 setup same specs.
I am with Competition Orange. I think you should do an 18x11 with two different offsets, (one for the front and one for the rear) for GT350 owners who want to go down to 18's or for owners who have wide front fenders, ie. GT350 style fenders. I would like to avoid running spacers for the track hence the reasoning to want a separate front offset and rear offset.

I also don't think there is a need for an 18x9. 18x10 would make more sense for a non-GT350 car for the front.

For the 3rd time, is it a goal/plan to make the 18's clear PP Brembos?

Since it has been skipped over twice before, I would guess no?
Now for the 4th time, will the 18s clear the PP brakes?

The 18" set up is still a concept. We have not locked it in yet. Based on the demand we may be bringing them in. The only way we would bring them in the 18" fitment is if the wheels DO clear the PP brakes. We will do all the measurements and the test fits before putting the 18's into production.
We are currently taking down information of clients who are interested in the 18" set up. If you would like, please PM us your information and we will add you to the list. This way you will receive up to date updates on the wheels.

road race crowd would love some 18x10.5 square action (particularly the S197 crowd)

I'm definitely interested, especially if it clears the PP brakes (as if I can find a wheel that works, I may add PP brakes to my s197 road race car as the pad size/depth are a huge upgrade over the S197 4 pots)

I'm interested in the 20x12s. What would the offset be?
The 20x12 will be part of our bespoke custom program, it will come as a blank and have a range approx. from 15mm-55mm as the offset.

Good evening fellow enthusiasts, we are excited to present our first rendering of the new Project 6GR -Five wheels in the thin spoke design.

We received a lot requests and inquires on possibly redesigning the wheel with thinner spokes. The enthusiasts have spoken and we are all ears. It's how we we designed and built the original Project 6GR- Seven wheels. We truly appreciate all the support and feedback we continue to receive to be able to translate those requests into the finished wheel.

The thinner spoke design will reduce the unsprung rotation mass and also allow for those awesome braking systems to show more.

Here we have our good buddy Nathan Brummer's beautiful Ingot silver GT with the new Project 6GR-Five wheels as a render for your viewing pleasure.

We welcome your comments and suggestions as we are building our second design in collaboration with the Mustang 6G community and fellow enthusiasts.

We will be providing more renderings on the GT350 Shelby platform as we move forward with this project on different color combinations.

Let us know what you think.....

I'm liking the thinner spokes Alex! Now, if we can get them to have the same deep concave of the CF5'S, I'm probably in.

First off, the new narrower spoke design looks a lot better to me, especially seeing it mocked up on a car. This design just turned the corner from "meh" to "oohh", but I'm still not giving up my P6G7s :)

What are the chances of getting a RAW 19x9"+38 and a 19x9.5"+45. Those would be a killer F-Street autox setup with the max rules-allowed offset and a light weight. Hmm...

Nothing really in the works with those set ups yet. Maybe soon if we get enough people wanting them.
