Probably just window shopping, but seeing if there are any good deals with black friday right now.

Unless anyone has any other suggestions for to increase straight line speed for "stoplight racing". The power packages seem nice but a bit expensive for what you get. Like $1200 for 20 more hp and such.

Bang for buck supercharger = Paxton.

Terry at @beefcake Racing offers his 'Beefcake Special' package and runs killer pricing year round, with an extra $250 off during BF sales. Around $6k gets you a complete kit with a mid 9 sec 1/4 mile capable blower, can't get better than that.

I have the Beefcake Special Paxton Stage 2 kit on my car (running a custom remote tune) and I couldn't be more pleased with the power delivery and general road manners.

Ive seen use centri blowers go for about 3500 to your door.
Just hangout for a used kit and you'll be just as fast as the next guy

This should be in the " Forced Induction" section if asking about forced induction.

But I agree, Paxton hands down best bang for the buck. Beefcake special/Lund combo FTW!

Not sure why anyone would want a centrifugal blower that doesn't make power until 3500 rpms or so when a positive displacement blower starts at 2000 rpms. I'm into "supercharger whine" and power at 2k and up. Unless of course you are just going for a 1/4 mile car and not a daily driver type setup.

I love seeing the Centris don’t make any torque down low or lazy talk. Mine is soooo gutless and lazy LMFAO. This was on pump 93 and 18 degrees.

Have you ever been in a Centri? Mine will pin you in the back of your seat at the flick of the pedal. Lag is not an issue at all.

Thanks for helping me make my point.....
Your car in the picture is surely a beast, but it was probably launched at a high RPM. That's the only place where the centris shine. Under 3500 rpm= nada, no power.

Now take a positive displacement blower..... power up top and down low too. Much better for a daily driver, street car type situation. Will your centri beat a positive displacement? Maybe it will, but unless you are using the car as a 1/4 track car it's just inferior.
