Looking to make the somewhat boring front end of my 2017 GT Premium look a lot more aggressive. I really like the APR splitter, but it seems on the non-PP cars it tilts up instead of being level. Not sure about the Liquidvinyl one?

I'm also considering bumper swaps. Would appreciate seeing what you 15-17 non-pp guys have done with your front end...

Well, been looking into it almost all day and I think I'm going with the Ikon GT500 front bumper conversion:

I think it looks amazing on the 15-17 cars. I'm going to have my favorite body shop guy do it. Won't be cheap. $1k for the front end + install and paint, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it totally converts the looks of the car.

Very interested in this thread as well. I’m looking for a splitter without doing a front bumper conversion.

Yeah I actually canceled my order on the GT500 front end. I decided against it for now because it seems there is no way to get any replacement parts if needed. Also after paint and install it gets pretty expensive. Additionally some people ran into minor issues that required a decent amount of custom work etc. So I was like maybe I'll just go back to getting a splitter.

I was really interested in the APR and Liquivinyl splitters but it seems that don't lay flat on non-pp cars and instead have a bit of an upward rake which I wasn't a fan of. So I'm still at the drawing board on what I will do....

APR on my previous 15’ non pp, does have a slight upward angle but I adjusted most of it out, other than that it was a great splitter.

You can always swap out the chin spoiler for a bigger one. The pp spoiler will bolt on but needs the corresponding belly pan/splash shield as the non-pp pan doesn't reach the pp spoiler. The 2016/17 CS spoiler is bigger than stock and is a direct swap, but honestly neither of those options makes a very big difference in appearance.

There's also a bunch of aftermarket custom chin spoilers that can make the front end more aggressive. I actually really like the Shelby Super Snake chin spoiler, and was surprised to find out it's also a direct fit and isn't very expensive.

agreed. loved the front end on my car. I did have to buy a new belly pan, 250 I didnt want. but whatever. I think I paid 450 to make the change. I sold the other belly pan for like 80 if I recall. cant remember.

Thanks for the feedback and pics. It's nice, but too subtle to me. Not much of a difference to my eyes. Looking for something a bit more aggressive.

When you see it next to a standard GT splitter its almost twice as large. The further you go on the splitters the more you move into RICE territory IMO.
