Hi guys was wondering if anyone could offer some advice my serpentine belt keeps slipping on my 2016 gt and I’m wondering if my pulley are meant to be aligned like this ? ( attached an image to the bottom) The driver belt idler pulley looks like it poking out by an inch or so and the belt doesn’t sit all the way on it and hangs off from the back of the pulley but not sure if that’s normal also worth mentioning this car was in a accident and the old driver belt pulley broke so I got a new one from Ford this is why I’m unsure if it’s meant to poke much or if it’s my tensioner or something else?

Thank you

the belt looks like it is not on correctly, the idler has a crown, flat side, or back side of the belt that rides it, and keeps it tracking.
I believe you are showing item #2

Hi thanks for getting back to me sorry I should have mentioned in that picture the belt is off. I took it off to remove the pulley and see if I had put it on wrong
