Before or after

I'm considering doing some stripes on my Mustang but was wondering when it would be optimal to do them considering some of the paint prep I'm going to looking at in the near future. When would be an ideal time:

*After wet sanding but before polish
*After polish but before ceramic coating application
*After ceramic coating application hardens

My thoughts are after polish but before applying the ceramic coating. If this is optimal, how long do you wait to apply the coating to ensure the decal doesn't shift?

Glad to hear I wasn't far off base. Any idea how long to wait before doing the coating? Not sure if decals have a setting time they need to stay on.

I'd wait at least 3 days from the time your applicator says its safe to drive
