Hi all,
Does anyone have before and after drag et’s after installing a tune? I have only really seen dyno numbers after tune installs but not any 1/8 or 1/4 mile comparisions. If so, post your tuner, tune, and numbers.
Thanks

This would really depend on the tune, mods and the car. Example, a stock 18+ GT may run mid 12s where long tubes and tuned for e85 could be mid / low 11s. Boosted and tuned in the 10s. Ford Performance tuned probably still low 12s etc.

Are we talking A10 cars or MT-82 D4?

To check the differances powerwise on my tunes I did a 2500 to 7000 rpm run a couple times with each tune the same day at the same spot. I then took the datalog data and made charts from 3000 to 6800 to see the time difference. This was on a 16 GT all stock except for the VMP and PBD tunes I had to install the 18+ airbox and tube because I asked to be tuned for that. Stock, SCT X4 Preloaded 93 tune and PBD all gave virtually identical time with the Preloaded tune giving a slight better result. VMP was always a bit behind by about 2-3 tenths. It told me a tune only, really doesn't do much for outright HP or performance. Being I'm an automatic the tunes work more aggressive and the throttle response is quicker part throttle. Honestly if I were to do it over I would do the preloaded tune or just stay stock and a pedal commander for the throttle boosting.
