So short story back then i was owner of a 2018 mustang gt 10r80 pp1, loved it but always wanted a shelby and money was the main issue. So i sold my mustang and started saving up left to right making sure to hit my goal somewhere around 1-3 years.

Now im ready to pass on my order for a 2022 ford shelby gt500, im curious to know if anybody has an estimation of how long am i waiting for from an order paper passed on (hopefully msrp). I am located in canada,québec if it makes any differences.

The ford website works like total crap, so i can't guess what are the financing options and interest rate (actual). But i do know the cad msrp is 96,500$ over here.

Beside that im not hurry to get delivery, it can be from 6 month to 1-2 year, as long i can grab myself one before the car goes out of production. Always been a dream for me

Expect to pay $10k plus over on a base and $20k plus for a CFTP, if its an ordered car. Very limited showroom options out there as our market is so much smaller. Dealer financing not likely to go below 5.99%

Good luck with the hunt!

So the new trend for dealership is to markup everything just because they can ? I tought this was illegal practice and that if you ordered and wait they have to sell it MSRP. Guess not

Ford canada let them add markup and nothing enforcing msrp respectfully ? Sad

There are some new ones on autotrader.ca that I am sure you should be able to get a deal on considering some are discounting loaded GTs $7K +)- and dealer sales are down 60%+ on shortages alone plus people going across the street to competition who have stock.

Also lots of Mach 1s. Saw some track pack 500s as well.

I'd get magneride for QC haha.

Good luck on discounts. Likely not going to happen. 2020GT500 is much closer to realistic.

It's public info on trader $7K CAD discounts and they've been discounting since Sept all one has to do is ask.

I got $3.5 K discount on EBHPP vert order.

I'm saying Canadian dealers are discounting all mustangs and have new gt500s sitting for months now about to be 1 MY old, at the same time the avalach of covid cash drying up. Just make them an offer.

So this is it, first step has been taken. I am ranked 6th on the waiting list for the 2023 allocation. So i passed my order spec the way i wanted it

All 2021/2022 were alreydy sold or ordered. Per dealership words

The planned end of the model run is 2022. There are currently no plans for a 2023 GT500. Maybe things have changed but I have not read anything about another being added on this or any other site.

I would be asking how many allocations they got last year.

I did not ask that question, but they delivered gt350 and f150 shelby before so i know they will be hitting the floor just not the exact number quantity

You better get on a couple of lists if you want to ensure you get a car, very slim chance of any dealer getting 6 X GT500’s as the biggest dealer in the West wasn’t getting that many.
