For those of you who've had the car for a few weeks and don't drive it every day (there must be someone!), did you notice any material changes in the battery voltage over a few days, and do you plan on using a trickle charger like the CTEK 3300 or similar?

I had some battery tenders go bad and switched to CTEK 3300 and love them. CTEK comes from the factory on a lot of high end super cars.

I use CTEK 3300 for all of my cars during winter storage and when I am away for long trips.

Has anyone managed to connect a ctek through the 12v plug on a GT350? On my car it's not working.

Bump this old thread for new info. Trying to connect a deltran charger through one of the auxiliary power ports and it seems that neither the one on the lower middle dash or the one in the console are hot when the car is off? Anyone have a good solution to this problem that doesn't involve opening the hood to connect a charger?

I use a Schumacher SEM-1562A automatic trickle charger on all three of my cars. None are daily drivers. The '09 GT500KR still has the original battery (8 yrs old), the '99 Cobra Optima battery is over 11 years old. Keep them charged and they last a long time.
I hooked up the supplied disconnnect to the red lead on the fuse box and the closest ground on the shock tower. That way the disconnect is up front and accessible (placed the white paper under it so you can see the connector).

Ditto, I did the same exact CTEK wiring setup to the fuse box last November for winter storage. The battery was kept fully charged all Winter long. I found using the motorcycle setting works the best for a trickle charging.

Are our batteries lead acid or lithium ion? I've heard it both ways, but haven't been inside the battery compartment to check.

Is the red (+) lead on the fuse box the one in the middle or the one on the left in your pic?

They both look red (well, I guess the one on the left looks a little more pink).

Has anyone hooked up the CTEK 3300 with the supplied eyelet terminals like The Chairman has done with his Schumacher tender? If so, any concerns? Thanks in advance?

Edit: I did this..works flawlessly. No need to get any other extentions or connections.
