There is a cover on the battery. The AAA technician took it off to recharge my battery. There are 2 black plug like things on the front edge of the battery.
Is there a third screw or something to hold it in place? I am not sure if he lost a screw or something

it is also a twist type fastener, and there are 3 of them. Like you I will have too find some as they fall out easily with no retainer to keep them on the cover

All of mine broke. Right now the cover sits in my car with no fasteners. It's not going anywhere. I'm not going to spend another $10 for more cheap flimsy fasteners.

I ordered the third fastener for $2 and picked it up from the dealer. I feel a whole lot better

Same here, but I'm OCD as fack and couldn't live with having one missing...well it's not missing it's somewhere in the fender because that's where it rolled to.

After losing one too many of those little buggers, I drilled them and installed a tiny black split ring on them and used some black tether cord to tie them to the firewall brace. Even if they fall, just grab them by the tether. Ford should have used dzus fasteners
