Your numbers should be higher and rise a lot farther if not all the way to redline. Can you data log boost? You might not be holding steady boost all the way to redline
I was thinking the same. And I can only see peak held boost. I’ll see about methods to data log boost throughout the run.

This is the 2nd one of these kits to post recently with good power numbers that happened about 1000 rpm too early. Makes me wonder if there's an exhaust issue.
It’s possible it’s just thats low boost to cause valve float but it could be. It sounds like the turbine housing is too small but you would think that a company like that would not make that mistake. So it might not be holding boost through the run

Does it hold steady boost through the run? That’s what I would check first

Hell Horse had similar issues with valve float when using the oem manifolds at less than 10 lbs of boost and switched to only using 4 into 1 headers could be the same thing also I think cutouts help a lot

Seeing a few Dyno graphs like this makes me wonder how many people are running around on the street with similar combos that are revving them way higher than they need to…

Well, finally got my car on the Dyno today to see what power it’s making.

2020 Mustang GT
Hellion Sleeper Kit w/ base 62/66 ‘s
Fore L1E w/ dual Walboro 465’s
1050x
Billet OPG’s

824/756 @ 12.9# on e85

Peak hp was made @ 6450 rpm.... and was expecting power to climb to redline.
Any thoughts on this?
Nevertheless I’m happy with the numbers.

Same kit sitting in my living room. Im waiting for my turn at the shop. Thanks for your post. Question. What boost level did you start with when first installed?

started tuning on gate pressure- ~7-9 psi, then used the eboost street controller to start turning it up

Thanks. What were you making to the wheels at gate pressure? If you don't mind me asking. I'm looking for 600-650 on E85 with 2.5 x-pipe and axle back exhaust. Nothing crazy to start. I'm going to build motor first.

I have no clue, only put it on the Dyno@ 13 psi, but I would think you would easily make 650-700 @ 7 psi on e85

Tuner responded and said exact same thing. He said it’s for sure valve float. Going to put loudvalve cutouts on the car and see if that’s enough to mitigate the problem.
