Hi all,

Just picked up my mustang and am looking at possibly going to a short throw shifter. However, I'm a bit intimidated by the install. I don't race or anything but appreciate nice, short shifts.

I see on Barton's website this economy shifter: https://bartonshifters.com/shop/ols/products/barton-economy-shifter

Does anyone have experience with it or any reviews to reference?

ON EDIT: I also see the boomba shifter as well. Just trying to get some opinions.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks. I ended up buying the steeda as well, and am trying to install today. Its been a MAJOR PITA to do on jack stands....

I left my exhaust and drive shaft in place when I did it. Probably would be much easier with the exhaust and drive shaft out of the way.

For sure. At least my h pipe is installed and not the resonator. That would have made it nearly impossible. I still have two bolts to pull the shifter out. Dreading putting it back in...

I would buy once and go for a MGW X-Spec shifter with the flatstick handle. It's the more superior shifter on the market and is completely adjustable. Give me a shout if you have any questions. www.lethalperformance.com
