Guys have been asking me about our 15" drag wheels alot.

the factory brakes make it impossible to get a 15" wheel on the rear of the s550s.

However, with the baer brake conversion that we offer, it can be done.

Baer makes a complete rear brake setup (just need the brake lines) for the s550 that allow you to run a 15x9.33 weld, a 15x8 racestar, and a couple other wheels out there.

For the weld to fit, you do need to swap to a 1/2" stud as well, as a 14mm lug isn't availalbe to fit.

Baer makes these in a red fire and a clear (satin silver).

Feel free to hit us up, normally a 6 week wait, but we have been keeping these in stock too.

Mmmmmmm yellow on beadlocks and a cowl hood!

I had looked at doing this conversion before and decided not to because In the description of the brake kit it stated that "this kit does not retain the e-brake" but now that I go look at your link I'm not seeing it. So my question is...has Baer released a new kit that allows us to keep the e-brake?

No doubt does the car look so much better with the 15 rears and 17 fronts. Is there a performance benefit for using the 15" rears/tire over the 17" rears/tire combos?
What's the wheel/tire combo on this car?

Advantage is more tire sidewall for tire flex on the launch, and the rotating mass of the wheel will be closer to the hub.

I don't know the specs but I bet beefcake can just about tell you as it looks close to what his is.
The yellow car looks to have Race Stars on them. The Red car has Welds. I think the fronts are Aluma Star 2.0's, not sure what the backs are, but look bead-locked. I think this is a hellion car, at least I've seen one just like it.

no, you lose the ebrake with the conversion

we have the 15x8 racestars right now, but adding some welds, since you can get a 9.33 with which will spread the 275 radial a little more

In a perfect world is a 15x10 desired for the 275 tire?
