Just finished the install on my car. I used Goodridge Stainless steel brake lines. Overall, pretty straight forward job. I had a Capri Vacuum Bleeder which made the job much easier.

The weight/size difference on the front was significant. I can see how these save a 100lbs between the front & rear. The quality of the kit is top notch.

In terms of feel, I'll need to drive them around for a week to slowly break them in. They don't feel too bad but definitely noisy. We'll see if they quiet down with some miles.

I tried to test fit some 15x7 rims I had lying around from a 99 mustang v6. They actually fit but the clearance between the caliper and inner rim was a little too close to consider safe.

Hopefully that drop in weight and rotating mass will equate to 2-3 tenths in the 1/4.

I never used it with an automatic. Of course Dallas is pretty flat. If I lived in a very hilly area, it could be an issue - especially if I had a manual.

So going on Day 4 driving with these brakes. They're starting to bite harder. They feel like they're about 80% of the stopping power of the factory brakes. I haven't really laid hard into them yet, though.

The biggest gripe I can see I'm going to have is the damn brake dust. There's already a nice layer building up on my wheels. Why can't the aftermarket develop the same materials like the OEMs. My factory brakes had zero dust. Oh well, the price of performance.

Oh and the brake noise is pretty much gone now they're bedding in. A few more heat cycles and I'll give them a proper heating up and lay hard on them. Will report back as I continue to drive on them.

I've had mine on for 1k miles now. brake dust is definitely a bother, but aggressive compound so I'll deal with it. As far as bite, mine grab hard when laid into. Normal conditions they feel just like stock besides they extra noise. Overall I love them.

You should probably do that, as it's one thing to stop a 2 ton car on the road genrly from 30mph compared to from 140mph at the end of the quarter mile.

What size wheels? 18s? Can you get some further back pics to see how it looks?
Those are 20" rims. I'll get a photo from further away and post it.

Update: Prior to grenading the diff housing/driveshaft, the car improved ET in the 1/8th by .12 seconds and mph by 1.29MPH. In the quarter, that's an easy 2 tenths drop and 2.5mph gain from just front/rear brake swap.

Pretty good upgrade.

That’s a great improvement. I dropped .18 seconds and increased 2mph by going to 17x4.5 F14s up front from 20” velgens. I’d love to do E85 and a stall but the thought of potentially breaking into the 9s on a P1 on pump and no stall is tempting.

That drop in the 1/4 or 1/8th mile ?

1/4 mile. The swap dropped ~50 lbs off the front end. I’m hoping I can get the same gain by doing this brake package. I think it drops close to 100lbs if I remember correctly.
