XM has a phone app.. You can stream all your channels.. It's a bit more a month.. But may solve your problem
I thought about that, but I jump channels a lot and constantly picking up my phone to do so would be annoying and semi-unsafe I think.

But that will kill your data though.
Still have ATT unlimited. I use every opportunity to suck them dry, too. According to their notification, I'm in the top 1% of data hogs. Yesssss!!

I understand.. but I think you can set favorites.. Maybe play with it a bit and see ..

I use to stream sirus/xm from my phone quite a bit. 5 to 6 hours a day was usually less than 1/2 a gb or less. Some channels are more compressed then others. YMMV.

Not how it works now. You get varying bitrates using a sat receiver but the app is constant for all channels and you can adjust the quality in the app - 320kbps is the highest which is the same as Spotify, it defaults to 128kbps I believe.
