A bit tight under the battery lead but just massage it up and gently slip the brace under. From memory they were 12mm but I also just shaved a smidge off the back of the brace where it contacts the K brace. Also check the proper torque the bolts need to be tightened to. I don’t remember exactly. The so called RHD adjusted braces are just ground off where I shaved it to go over the K brace. Good luck.
Wow 12mm that’s a lot - cheers 👍🏻

Still tossing up between spacers and grinding 😄 - cheers
Just grind it, no offence to those who opted for spacers but I didn't see the point of paying more money than I already had. I also wanted to make sure I was able to screw it down properly. Each to their own, both methods work.

I was at my local this morning picking up the newspaper and I spied from a distance what at first I thought was a fighter jet grey Mach but on closer inspection it was just a Bentley.

I might be wrong here but I don’t think there is a RHD version - I think the RHD is the LHD with spacers included to clear the bracket on the drivers side. And some folk have reportedly just ground away a bit instead of spacing it. But I may be wrong as I said. I intend to draw up the spacer plates to suit and then get then laser cut.

That’s excellent, thank you. Can I ask what thickness the spacers need to be on each side please. It looks to be tricky to get under the battery leads also.
cheers John
I just measuered my spacers and they are 8mm thick. They were supplied with my Gt 350 brace.

Brilliant many thanks indeed thickness is what I needed too 👍🏻, was there much thread left showing on the battery side with the spacer and bar in place? I got new nylocks with the bar so maybe they are shorter than the standard ones to all ow for the spacer, have not checked that yet.

This is the Ford Performance Right Hand Drive Aluminium GT350 Strut Brace - Part No. M-20201-GT350 RH. Yes it uses black spacers to fit properly without weakening the brace.

Plenty of thread left, full nut as you can see in TeeCee photo.
