Finally took delivery and feel like I now have a proper seat at the 6G table. Not the best shot and those chrome wheel nuts are irksome, but other than that I reckon she is an attractive beast. Paint correction, ceramic coat and tint next week, should make it really pop in the sun.
Average shot but still looks awesome to my eyes. Will post some DSLR shots after the ceramic coat.

Going to do some driving around tomorrow I think and try to find some locations to take some photos. Hopefully I find somewhere good. I'm sure one of my stops will be Mt. Cootha.

Took a run out to The Barn and Scotty's Garage at Flagstone Creek, not far from Toowoomba. There is a great automobilia museum on site, and the cafe does a good burger.

Wow, IMHO that's an absolutely brilliant photo and deserves framing (once the modern stuff in the background right rear is photoshopped out :giggle: ). I certainly would if it were mine. The 65 (?)around the corner is priceless. Well done! At least deserves a run in the Photo of the Month thread :like:

Thanks for your kind words! I was happy with that shot too. I'll do a little more editing and enter next month's Photo of the Month thread.
I must admit though, it is easy to get a nice image when you have Mustangs in the picture.
Cheers!

G'day Pete are you going for windscreen protection film or something like Rain X? If it's a film I'd really appreciate knowing how you get on as the Mustang has a very thin screen. The one in my 17 was broken by a hail of stones flying off an earth mover on a low loader and the screen offered by insurance, being non oem, didn't have the cursive Ford logo covering the gubbins behind the rear vision mirror. I argued it was so prominent that it affects appearance and thankfully they made an exception but I doubt they'll do it again.

I've watched a few YT vids and the films seem pretty effective but understandably are reported as creating a bit of distortion.

Ive only applied Gyeon Quick View for ease of keeping clean . I got a freebie windscreen replacement as part of my insurance also and i am not too fussed about the ford logo tbh . I actually dont think an aftermarket screen would be that expensive , I did both the screens in my BF ford Ute and Calais Holden for $600 fitted in my driveway , purely because they were getting a bit scratched up and hazy so was hard to see well in late arvo sun . before i renew my insurance next year will get a quote on Stang screen to see whether its worth the extra insurance premium .

I applied the quick view to my other cars as well

Looks very yellow in that lighting.
Yeah, I thought so too which is why I took the pic. As a fellow gold coaster, here is the tip. Drive to HOTA and park near the footbridge to Chevron. Go over to Arlo's pizza, the best pizza I have had in Australia for sure (Japanese pizza is pretty good too). Sourdough crust, even my missus who is very gluten adverse is OK with it. Prawn and rocket pizza is fantastic!
